Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

2 Corinthians 4:6 "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

This is what the Bible says you will see when you turn your eyes upon Jesus:

-His shining face.
Matthew 17:2 "His face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light."

-His determined face.
Luke 9:51 "And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem."

-His bruised face.
Luke 22:63, 64 "And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him. And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophecy, who is it that smote thee?"

-His hated face.
Matthew 26:67 "Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him: and others smote him with the palms of their hands."

-His hidden face.
Isaiah 64:7 "Thou hast hid thy face from us.... because of our iniquities."

-His face against them that do evil.
1 Peter 3:12 "The face of the Lord is against them that do evil." 

-His face that we should seek after.
Psalm 27:8 "When thou saidst, Seek ye my face: my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek."
