No Victory In Sight

No Victory In Sight

Hebrews 12:1, 2 "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

Giving up when the going gets tough is easy. It is harder to keep on going when the odds are against you and there is no victory in sight.

There are no failures, just results.  Even if things don’t unfold the way you expected, don’t be disheartened or give up. Look unto Jesus who is the author and finisher of your faith.

Learn what you can from your stumbles and move on with an even greater expectation.  The one who continues to advance one step at a time will win in the end, because the battle is always won far away and long before the final victory.

Victory is a process that occurs with small steps, decisions, and actions that gradually build upon each other and eventually lead to that glorious moment of triumph. When you can't see victory, just keep on trusting in the promises of God. The One that rolled the stone away from the grave is the One that will give you the patience to run and finish your race.
