Jesus Never Will Be Late (Part 1)

Jesus never will be late. He WILL always show up on time.

-Sometimes He showed up to love when the unlovable was without a smile.

-Sometimes He showed up to love those feeling ugly, worthless, and inadequate.

-Sometimes He showed up to love those who felt alone and scared.

-Sometimes He showed up to love even when His disciples didn’t know what He was doing.

-Sometimes He showed up to love when it was the last thing anyone expected Him to do.

-Sometimes He showed up to love even when the hurting had done all they could do.

-Sometimes He showed up to love with patience to heal the wounded.

Sometimes He showed up to love those who had no love to give.

Despite the obstacles, excuses that were made, pressures and distractions of the outside world, and even the mean voices of His greatest critics, He continually showed up to love.

Why?

Because He never left someone who felt the same way after He arrived.

They walked away a little lighter, more at peace, more hopeful, more grateful, and more joyful. They found that God’s love was always the right choice and never once regretted choosing His love over all else.

So He shows up to love again…

and again…

and again!
