Being You (Part 4)

Being Your (Part 4)
Ephesians 4:1 "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called..."
You need to stop being haunted by the ghosts from your past.  What happened in the past is just one chapter in your story. You can't close the book, but you can turn the page.
You’ve all been hurt by your own decisions and by the decisions of others, and while the pain of these experiences is normal, sometimes you let it linger for too long.  Feelings of resentment urge you to relive the same pain over and over, and you'll find that the devil will give you a hard time letting go of them.
The only remedy is forgiveness.
-Forgiveness allows you to focus on the future without combating the past.
-Forgiveness helps you understand the infinite potential of everything going forward is to forgive everything already behind you.
-Forgiveness heals wounds that never seem to be healed and establishes personal growth to be achieved.  It doesn’t mean you’re erasing the past, or forgetting what happened.
-Forgiveness means you’re letting go of the resentment and pain, and instead choosing to learn from the incident and move on with your life.
You were not called to live in misery to your past, but in joy to your fabulous future. Hold your head up high child of God, greater things are yet to come.
