Your Journey (Part 4)

Your Journey (Part 4)

You can fight and win the battles of today, only.

No matter what’s happening, you can resourcefully fight the battles of just one day.  It’s only when you add the battles of yesterday and tomorrow, that life gets overwhelmingly difficult and complicated. Your mind can:

-Create giants that don't exist.

-Relive fiendish nightmares of failures.

-Let past sins overtake and control you.

-Develop a dependency on things that ruin you.

-Destroy your hopes for your future.

-Rip destiny out of your hands.

The mind is a powerful thing and the battle for your journey starts and ends right there. Paul wrote:

Philippians 3:15-17 "Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample."

The giants will come, failures will happen, past sins can raise their ugly heads, and you can give into bad habits. Your hopes and destiny on your journey are totally fixed on the fact that you forget yesterday's defeat and don't worry about the problems of tomorrow. Just take the weapon you have in your heart and mind right now and proceed by faith on this your journey. You can beat the problems your face today because you know who directs your path.
