On This Independence Day

On this Independence Day give thanks for our blessings. Even with our flaws we are still the greatest nation on the planet. From sea to sea we still have God-fearing people who are not ashamed of the gospel.

So I challenge you today to do these things today and everyday for the rest of the year:

-Pray for our nation, our leaders, and cities to come back to our foundation. Lift up our military and pray for our freedoms, rights, and liberties that are under attack. The law is supposed to protect all the people not just a few.

-Remember God is not color blind. He looks upon the heart and not the skin. Racism has no part in our lifetime.

-Rebuke the devil and all he stands for daily. A flag doesn't kill innocents, nor does gun control stop hatred. The power of sin and the devil cause all kinds of problems without boundaries attributed to heritage, wealth, or societal standing.

-Stay on the straight path. Too far left makes you a liberal and too far right makes you a biggot. Lean on the Lord, trust His Word, and stay on His road. The end will be worth it.

-Repent for our wrongs. Men's laws cannot change the Bible. Society, social media, and lust do not make wrongs right. Repetance is the key to survival.

One good thing about our nation-you can make choices that some nations do not have the opportunities to make. That's what makes America special.

Don't forget that!
