Some beautiful promises are made to the overcomers who overcome the spiritual forces of evil through waging effective spiritual warfare. The Bible clearly says:
• Will eat of the tree of life: Revelation 2:7
• Shall eat of hidden manna: Revelation 2:17
• Will be clothed in white raiment: Revelation 3:5
• Will be pillars in the temple of God: Revelation 3:12
•Will sit with Jesus in His throne: Revelation 3:21
• Will have a new name: Revelation 2:17
• Will have power over the nations: Revelation 2:26
• Will have the name of God written upon them: Revelation 3:12
• Will have a special relationship with God: Revelation 21:7
• Will have the morning star (Jesus): Revelation 2:28
• Will be confessed by Jesus before God the Father: Revelation 3:5
• Will not be hurt by the second death: Revelation 2:11
• Will not have their names blotted out of the book of life: Revelation 3:5
• Will inherit all things: Revelation 21:7
You will continue to fight spiritual battles until you go to
be with the Lord. As you fight each battle you will learn more about warfare from your successes and even from your failures. Always remember that "failure" is a temporary word as long as you return to the battlefield and continue to war. You may lose a battle now and then, but the final victory has been assured by our Lord of Hosts!
