We Will Not Be Defeated (Part 8)

Don't put your trust in "chariots" or the natural weapons of men!

Psalms 20:7 "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God."

-Chariots can lose wheels, break axles, and provide no overhead covering for the driver of passenger.

-Chariots can get stuck in the mud, lose traction, and are really dependent on horsepower. With it, it won't move!

-Chariots are only as dependable as their driver and team.

But remember God has "spiritual" chariots.

-There are more of them for us than against us!
Psalm 68:17 "The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place."

-They are indeed supernatural in creation and power! Psalm 104:3 "Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind..."

-The Lord doesn't need wood or wheels for His chariots!
Isaiah 19:1 "The burden of Egypt. Behold, the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it."

-When God drives miracles happen! Kings 2:11 "And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven."

Let go of your reins-God has it under control and He is swift to engage in battle and combat for us with His supernatural weaponry. The battle is the Lord's!
