Sifted (Part 5)

Sifted (Part 5)

One of the things sin does is to blind you. Sin looks good at the beginning but then, all of a sudden, you are blinded by it.

-You feel dead spiritually.

-You don’t have any direction.

-You don't even recognize the deep deception into which you have fallen.

-You are a prime target for the enemy to sift and destroy.

Realize that the pleasures of sin for a season are not worth the price you will have to pay in the long run. You will never recognize what God wants you to be if through deception and sin, you are reduced from a victor to a slave.

Satan has declared his purpose over your life:

-He wants to reduce you to being his slave and humiliate you so that the world sees nothing but a fraud.

A sifted person easily becomes a defeated person who appears to have no future and no destiny.

-He wants to keep you in the prison house of bondage.

Satan wants you to be chained to the routines of life, going round and around, getting nowhere.

Perhaps you have watched people fall into a trap of Satan or you have fallen into one yourself.  Praise God, there is hope!  God still has a purpose for your life.  He does not want to leave you blind, held captive by the enemy, or locked in the prison house of bondage. God wants you to be restored spiritually and once again empowered to do His work.

Sin may bind, blind, and grind, but God is able to deliver. Whatever has happened in your life, God can reverse it.  You can be restored.  Thankfully, He is the God of a another chance.
