Count

Count your blessings instead of your crosses;
Count your gains instead of your losses.
Count your joys instead of your woes;
Count your friends instead of your foes.
Count your smiles instead of your tears;
Count your courage instead of your fears.
Count your full years instead of your lean;
Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.
Count your health instead of your wealth;
Count on God instead of yourself.

  1. Cute - that reminds me of the song: "When I'm worried and I can't sleep, I count my blessings instead of sheep, then I fall asleep, counting my blessings. When my billfold is getting small, I think of when I had none at all, then I fall asleep, counting my blessings." -- sung by Bing Crosby in White Christmas!! I can't really say I've ever heard it anywhere else except when I sang it to my friends. It gives my heart a little perk. Lord bless you.
