Jesus said, “Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).
There are five truths I want to share with you this Easter Sunday:
1. Jesus loves you no matter what you have done-Jesus loves you and died for you.
2 Peter 3:9 “not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance”
Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”
2. Salvation is a free gift. You don’t earn it or deserve it, yet you can ask him for it!
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 3:23.
3. God always hears and answers prayer. The Bible says He hears us even before we pray.
1 Peter 3:12 “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.”
4. If God be for us then who can be against us. You need to be on God’s side. He will fight your battles for you.
Romans 8:31 “If God be for us, then who can be against us.”
5. Jesus will never us or forsake us.
Hebrews 13:5 “for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
