Be Prepared

You heard about the sign posted on a rancher's fence? On the other side of the fence resides the biggest, meanest looking bull you can imagine. The sign is intended to strike fear into the hearts of would-be trespassers. It reads: "Don't attempt to cross this field unless you can do it in 9.9 seconds. The bull can do it in 10 flat!"

Don't try to cross that field unless you are prepared! And isn't that the way it is in life? We have to be ready when the opportunity arises or else we will have little chance of success.

Jesus gives us a warning to be prepared for His coming. Are you prepared?

Matthew 24:44 "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."

Fours things you need to remember today:

(1) You can't move forward until you are prepared for today.

(2) You can't change some outcomes, but don't worry you can change your destiny.

(3) You can't win every battle, but learn when to regroup, refresh, and renew after each clash in life you face.

(4) You can't always maintain the same speed, but keep pushing forward consistently. Stay the course.

We must be prepared for anything and everything in life. There's always a bull that catch us so we have to have a strategy to make it until we cross the field. If you know Christ you have a tremendous advantage over the bulls of life. Just don't give that up and let the enemy win.

Be prepared!
