Awareness Of God

Psalms 23:4  “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

Every time you are tempted to react in the same old way, stop and decide if you want to be a prisoner of your past or a pioneer of your present.

In order to gain control of what goes on in your mind, you need to develop an awareness of God's presence in every situation.  Hold still for a moment, take a deep breath and free your mind of all the noise that’s going on inside you and all around you. This makes room for a change of your reactions and allows God the opportunity to intervene.

From the awareness of your thoughts and emotions thru Jesus you grow capable of redirecting your focus on positive things.  It’s time to take your mind willingly away from anything that drags you down and zero it in on something that inspires you.  Focus on your next meaningful step.  There are no hopeless situations, but there are people who have grown hopeless about them.

Your perception creates your beliefs, your beliefs create your behaviors, and your behaviors produce your experience.  That’s why you must sort through your thoughts carefully, and choose to respond only to those that will help you build the life God wants you to live and the outlook you want to hold as you’re living it. It will be worth it in the end.
